Allowing a Retry on a Passed Exam

Allowing a Retry on a Passed Exam

You are here:
  1. Look up the student in Buzz
  2. Click on Performance
  3. Click on Past Courses and select the correct course
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and select Final Proctored Test
  5. Change exam score to “0.”
  6. Select Allow Retry on the exam by clicking the circular arrow.
    1. It will automatically save and bring you back to the grades page.
    2. If it doesn’t, be sure to hit Submit Score
  7. Go to “Enrollments” and click on the unit.
  8. Change course status to “Active” instead of “Complete.”
  9. Make sure the student knows they need to inform us of their new score when they finish their test. We will then need to email the registrar (Karma Gurthie) so she can manually fix the grade in Skyward.
    1. Be sure to include the following in the email to Karma:
      1. Student’s name
      2. Student’s ID number
      3. Which specific course and unit they retested in
      4. The unit’s new grade
  10. Please note the following:
    1. Course cannot be past its expiration date so all renewal fees still apply.
    2. Student can only retest within 1 term of the first test attempt
