- Select Receipts
- Then select Credit Cards – Ingenico – Receiver
- The red text should say Connection Open
- If it is, then the card reader will work
- If it is not:
- Select File
- Then select Define Workstation
- At the bottom of this window, the box that says Receiver IP should match the receiver IP that is listed at the top of your computer screen, on the right.
- Example: 10.10.10.10
- Then select the green Save button
- This should allow the card reader to connect and let you take payment
Note that if a student hasn’t made a payment in the current school year, they won’t show up in TES yet and you’ll need to add them. See Adding a Student in TES for instructions.
- Login to TES
- Make sure you’re in the correct school year and hit OK
- Select Receipts
- Select Student Control Center
- Type in the student’s ID number in box labeled: ID and hit Tab on the keyboard to search
- Every payment the student has made will appear, including those from the shopping cart and TES
- Those made in the shopping cart will have more information displayed, such as the Location, Account and Course Number
- Payments made in TES likely have little info displayed aside from the Amount Paid
(If your TES isn’t updated/downloaded properly, contact Supervisor, Emily, or McKay to help get it set up for you)
- Open Microsoft Remote Desktop
- Select TSPlus
- Login with your ASD universal login and password
- Make sure you have selected the correct school year and click OK
- Select “Receipts” then “Fee Sheet” in the dropdown menu.
- Search the student’s ID number or last name (you will need to type in the ID number, no copy and paste, then hit “tab” for it to search.)
- IF THE STUDENT IS NOT ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM:
- Select the download button (to the right of the Name box).
- Select “Insert.”
- Under the Name column, enter the student’s name in this format: lastname, firstname
- Ex: Smith, John
- Under the Code column, enter the student ID number
- Then choose “Select.”
- IF THE STUDENT IS NOT ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM:
- Once you have selected the student, then check “School Required Fee” on the right side.
- Select the fee(s) you will be charging by checking the P column. Double check it is correct!
- Make sure the price of the fee is corresponding with the price of the product the student is purchasing.
- Select “Card” and then “Credit Card” in the pop up window.
- On your card reader select “Enter Card” using the F1 button (it may take a few moments to show up.)
- Enter the information and select the green button after each section (card number, expiration date, CVC)
- On your computer screen it will say if the card was approved or declined.
- If approved, select the green square.
- This will take you to a receipt page. Download the pdf to send it if needed. (ex. For a school)
- Close the fee sheet when done.
- Make sure to completely close out of TES when finished as it will create issues for the financial secretary if you don’t.

After taking a payment in TES, be sure to update in Buzz and update or create the subscription in the Shopping Cart so that they are connected. See the “Adding a Subscription Manually” article if the need applies.
- (Make sure you are signed into TES from the Remote Desktop)
- After logging into TES, select Receipts at the top
- Then select Student Control Center
- Select the download button (to the right of the Name box).
- Select Insert
- This will pull up the Master File. At the top of this Master File window, select All
- Check first to see if the student is showing up under All
- To the right of where it say Searching for, start typing the student’s name
- BE SURE TO TYPE LAST NAME IN FIRST
- Hit tab after to pull up the list of student’s names in TES
- If the student’s name is not listed highlighted in blue at the top, we’ll need to enter them in
- To the right of where it say Searching for, start typing the student’s name
- Check first to see if the student is showing up under All
- Select Insert again
- Under the Name column, enter the student’s name in this format: lastname, firstname
- Ex: Smith, John
- Under the Code column, enter the student ID number
- Then choose “Select.”
