Students with an approved fee waiver are not required to pay waivable fees.  Please note that if a student with an approved fee waiver voluntarily chooses to pay a waivable fee, the payment will be treated as a donation to the applicable program or activity unless a refund is requested. Please contact the finance office with any questions at 801-610-8287. Those with an approved or pending fee waiver are asked to contact the school finance office rather than paying fees online.

A student is considered “in-district” if they attend an Alpine School District secondary school.

Proctoring Fee Per Unit

Each Curriculum Unit is equal to 1/8th or 0.125 credit. Half-year classes are broken into 4 units total. Full-year classes are broken into 8 units total.

Annual Registration Fee

$100.00

This fee provides access to the ESO program for one full year from the day the fee is paid. This fee must be renewed if the student wishes to access East Shore Online courses past their one year mark.

Proctoring Per Unit Renewal Fee

The proctoring fee expires 30 days from the day the unit was purchased. If the student has not completed the unit or taken the final test by the 30-day deadline, a $5 proctoring renewal fee is required to enable students to complete their unit.

A student is considered “out-of-district” if they live within the Alpine School District boundaries but are attending a school other than an ASD school such as a charter or private school.
