*McKay handles all Civic Test grades posting to Skyward.
For Student Use
To login:
- Go to http://alpinecivics.org
- Use Skyward username
- Use lunch number as password
- They can test at home and retest as many times as they would like
For Admin Use
Switch Domains in Buzz
- Go to the main menu and select “Online Learning from Alpine School District”
- Click the back arrow and then the pull down menu
- Select Alpine Civics
- Search for the student
- Take the same steps to switch back to domain and select “Online Learning from Alpine School District” to return
Create New Account
- Once in the Civics domain select “New”
- Enter the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Username (this is their Skyward ID, not their student ID number)
- External ID: Enter their student ID number
- Password: Enter their student ID number
- Add graduation year to description
Adding the Test
- Once the account has been created, select “Enrollments” on the student’s account.
- Select the + sign in the top right corner.
- Under “Course, search the menu icon. Only one class should appear.
- Select the Civics class and press save.
Additional Info
- Passing score needed for the Civics test is 70%
- Students can see their grade for the Civics test same way they can see grades for their regular classes
- Civics grades are updated every 72 hours.
