Switch Domains in Buzz

1. Go to the main menu and select “Online Learning from Alpine School District”
2. Click the back arrow and then the pull down menu
3. Select Alpine Civics
4. Search for the student
5. Take the same steps to switch back to domain and select “Online Learning from Alpine School District” to return

Create New Account

1. Once in the Civics domain select “New”
2. Enter the following information:
   1. First Name
   2. Last Name
   3. Username (this is their Skyward ID, not their student ID number)
   4. External ID: Enter their student ID number
   5. Password: Enter their student ID number
   6. Add graduation year to description

Adding the Test

1. Once the account has been created, select “Enrollments” on the student’s account.
2. Select the + sign in the top right corner.
3. Under “Course, search the menu icon. Only one class should appear.
4. Select the Civics class and press save.

Additional Info

1. Passing score needed for the Civics test is 70%
2. Students can see their grade for the Civics test same way they can see grades for their regular classes
3. Civics grades are updated every 72 hours.
