It will take a MINIMUM of 4 weeks to complete all four units. A total of 40 hours of logged exercise is required.

BLIFEACT1 Week 1: Intro to Lifetime Activity 1-week commitment and 10 hours of logged exercise
We will start by introducing the idea of lifetime activity. We will discuss the benefits, recommendations, and ways to increase physical activity. We will go over different types of exercises and start a log of the physical activity that you do. You will find your target heart rate and BMI and end will learn the basics of a few common lifetime activities.

BLIFEACT2 Week 2: Calories & Diet 1-week commitment and 10 hours of logged exercise
In this unit, we will learn more about calories and the kinds of calories that are best for our bodies. You will track the calories that you eat and find ways you can improve your diet. You will also choose 2 activities that you will record yourself performing and turn in.

BLIFEACT3 Week 3: Nutrition & Major Food Groups 1-week commitment and 10 hours of logged exercise
We will discuss more in-depth nutrition and the major food groups and you will track the serving you eat in each food group. We will also discuss some types of exercise you can do at home. You will learn about some common types of lifetime activities and turn in 2 videos of you performing a lifetime activity.
BLIFEACT4 Week 4: Building a Meal Plan  1-week commitment and 10 hours of logged exercise
In this unit, you will learn how to build a meal plan. We will talk about motor skills and life expectancy. We will discuss 2 common lifetime activities. You will then turn in your log of the physical activity that you did and make a plan for the physical activity you will do after you finish the course.
