• Go to the Shopping Cart
• Under WooCommerce, select Subscriptions
• Under Search for a customer, enter the student ID number
  • Select the student when they appear in the drop down
• Click the Search Subscriptions button on the right
• Find the subscription for the Registration Fee and then select the number of that correct subscription under the Subscription column
• Under Subscriptions details, click on the drop down box labeled to Subscription status (on the right side)
• Selected Expired
  • If necessary, leave a note with your initials under the Add note box, such as “Student wanted refund, no longer using program” -MC (box is on the left hand side. Be sure to select the Add button after you finish writing it)
• Select the blue Update button (on the left hand side)

• If a student has a Buzz account but does not have an account in the shopping cart/on our website, here is how to fix it
  • Go to eastshore.alpineschools.org
  • Log out of yourself if necessary
  • Click on Buy a Course
  • Log in under Existing ESO Student using the student’s ID number and password
    • You may need to reset the password for this. Be sure to communicate this to the student if so
  • By logging in, this should automatically create the shopping cart account and connect it to their Buzz account

This is an issue most frequently dealt with in the summer. Students who are moving from the 8th grade to the 9th grade may sign up and initially use our program, however they cannot test until July 1. The reason for this is July 1 is the date that Skyward goes through an automatic massive system update, which will also update all the students’ years. Before July 1, students would technically still be 8th graders, not 9th graders, so their grades would go on 4th term of 8th grade instead of 1st term of 9th. After July 1, they will have their high school transcript and they will be able to keep moving the same as regular students.

When setting up an 8th grader’s account in Buzz, please be sure to include the following:

Other notes: 8th grader can’t test until July 1st. -Initials

Grad year: 26

End date: 7/1/23

Must pay the $100 registration fee; non refundable

Must agree to the Terms and Conditions

Must be registered for and attending at least 6 classes on campus.

Questions to ask:

1. Do they attend a Charter/Private school that is within the Alpine District boundaries and live within the Alpine District boundaries?
   1. No – May not enroll
   2. Yes – Registration fee is $200 ($100 registration fee, $100 proctoring fee); Non-refundable. All other fees the same.

       1. Birth Certificate
       2. Immunizations
       3. Guardian Information
       4. Address and Phone Number
       5. Current School Information

Can not use ESO classes for core credit, only for electives.

Home schooled students may use our program. They will be charged an Out of District fee. They will also need a student ID number so their credits can update to Skyward. (Most kids may already have one if they ever attended an Alpine school in the past.) If they don’t have one, see the Out of District Students article for instructions on how to get one.
