You will learn about the Terrestrial and Jovian planets, dwarf planets and the reclassification of Pluto, and the left-overs of the solar system. BASTRO003 Unit 3: Sun & Stars This is an introduction to our Sun and stars. You will learn about the structure of the Sun, how stars are formed, how they live and then how they die. You will also learn about supernovas and the neutron stars and black holes they create. 0.125 or 1/8th Science Elective
BASTRO004 Unit 4: Galaxies & Big Bang This is an overview of galaxies and the large-scale structures of the universe. You will learn about our own galaxy, the Milky Way, and how our galaxy compares to others. You will also get an introduction to dark matter and dark energy and the cutting edge of astronomy today. 0.125 or 1/8th Science Elective
